Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

At the start in high school Sasha came out as transgender. Sasha had a difficult time, but he knew that with the help of his music and friends Sasha would be able take it on. Jim and Sasha have been writing together for a while and have recently joined as an official couple. They've performed in local open mics in addition to other venues. While The Voice coaches did not reveal the story of Sasha's past, she as well as Jim talked about their lives in a video introduction prior to the show. Both Jim and Sasha talked about what music they enjoy and their experiences. Sasha took up guitar first at six.
